About the ECC-Net
The European Consumer Centres Network, internationally known by its English acronym ECC-Net, is a group of consumer institutions funded by the EU Commission, with offices in all EU Member States, Norway, Iceland and the United Kingdom. In Austria, the ECC is part of the Verein für Konsumenteninformation (VKI).
In 2020, this network celebrates its 15th anniversary and on this occasion it has been given its first joint website: https://www.eccnet.eu
The network of 30 European Consumer Centres (ECCs) gives EU consumers the opportunity to find out their rights and take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the single market.

The network provides a unique overview and reliable information on consumer affairs in the internal market that can be used for policy-making in cooperation with European and national stakeholders.
