We are currently receiving complaints about the website kohlenhandel24.com based in Poland.
Consumers order hard coal from the company and pay the purchase price in advance. An order confirmation is sent to them only after repeated requests. Then, the coal is not delivered and calls, letters and e-mails are not answered.
Intervention so far unsuccessful
Together with the European Consumer Centre Poland, we have taken action against kohlenhandel24.com in two cases of Austrian consumers. The company only responded to our letters through lawyers. Accordingly, it is in restructuring.
Later the trader claimed that consumers had been contacted and solutions proposed. However, this was not the case.

We recommend that affected consumers report fraud to the police. If you have paid by credit card, you can also try to request a chargeback from your credit card company.
