AIDA cancellation: Organiser insolvent

No opera at Viennese Allianz Stadium

The big show "AIDA - The Stadium World Tour" was supposed to excite a new audience for opera. Instead, the production seems to be cursed with bad luck. After it got postponed for one year, it now became public that the organiser is insolvent.

What does this mean for consumers?

If you already bought tickets, you can contact the (preliminary) insolvency administrator: Dr. Dirk Andres. However, the process will only start in August 2017. Before that, it is not possible to file your claims. Nevertheless, you can already register with your name, address and the amount of your claims under the e-mail address AELIVE@andrespartner.de. Please find all relevant information and contact details on the website of the law office AndresPartner.

Experience shows that insolvency proceedings can take a long time. It is therefore impossible to say if, when and how much you will get refunded. We recommend to carefully follow the further developments in the case.
